Role Summary/Purpose: | The Respiratory Specialist is the Clinical & Technical expert for the assigned products/solutions & is expected to differentiate these offerings conveying compelling value propositions. Establish & develop strong relationship with departmental clinical and technical decision makers in their assigned accounts and provide ongoing account support & intimacy. Work in partnership with the Sales Team to create and win sales opportunities. |
Essential Responsibilities: | Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Establish and maintain up to date advanced product/solution expertise. Has the ability to explain & demo a specific technology in terms which are relevant and beneficial to customers to gain a clinical and commercial advantage.
- Responsible for all clinical and technical aspects of the sales process (win to win) from enquiry to installation sign off.
- Develop & use a deep clinical and technical expertise to differentiate our ventilation stragies, for example using lung protection and metabolic solutions.
- Achieve the Quarterly Operating Plan in terms of financial performance and qualitative objectives.
- Promote/Sell the benefits & USP’s of our clinical and technical solutions creating value added propositions.
- Work in partnership with the Sales Team to create viable product configurations which meet customer needs effectively & efficiently.
- Own and manage clinical and technical product evaluations “Win-to-Win”.
- Support in the development and presentation of solution proposals and respond to customers clinical/technical questions.
- Ability to demonstrate complex patient data workflow processes and synergies with other modalities/products.
- Project manage solution implementation.
- Deliver and own post sales clinical training along with documented training records for nursing and medical staff.
- Increase customer awareness of GE differentiators such as Lung protection and metabolic using all available mediums and forums.
- Establish & maintain strong clinical, technical & IT relationships with customer decision makers and influencers and provide on going IB support. Growing customer satisfaction and brand loyalty through regular visits/interaction.
- Establish high-level relationship with KOL in the market in order to improve GE’s image in ventilation and facilitate selling processes.
- Be actively involved on GE Funnel and Forecast processes giving relevant information about active accounts in the market.

Qualifications/Requirements: |
- Experience in a medical, healthcare, technical field (e.g. Biomedical Engineering, nurse, etc)
- Excellent product & sector knowledge in the ICU and NICU care areas
- Strong product demonstration or usage experience in a complex sales environment involving multiple decision-makers/influencers
- Understanding of respiratory physiology with a good knowledge of Adult, Pediatric and Neontal ventilation applications
- Ability to demonstrate and explain different modes of ventilation to a wide audience
- Ability to analyze complex customer data & develop & communicate clinically and technically sound sales solutions
- Strong written & verbal communication & clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
- Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions based sales approach
- Proficient PC user (Excel/Word/PowerPoint & other IT tools, Demo Tool etc)
- Negotiating skills
- Fluent English
- EU Work Permit
