Role Summary/Purpose: | The Sourcing Program Leader - will be accountable for and drive successful execution of assigned NPI projects in Industrial Solutions Business within Sourcing deliverable. |
Essential Responsibilities: | As the Sourcing Program Leader in EMEA region you will:- Lead and coordinate all sourcing activities engaging external vendors (documents exchange, vendor creation, negotiations, contracting) within assigned NPI projects,
- Interface with Engineering and Customer teams as needed to ensure scope changes meet requirements,
- Drive the RFQ & supplier selection processes within NPI projects,
- Coordinate prototyping at external vendors,
- Champion design for supply chain,
- Understand impact of supplier schedules on total project; coordinate top items and critical components to drive appropriate priorities; balance project schedule changes with material plans,
- Create and present Project sourcing status reports along with project team to business and customer,
- Drive total PO Management, ensuring all items and services are ordered with alignment on cost / schedule / bookkeeping,
- Facilitate meetings and workout sessions with cross- functional teams on sourcing topics,
- Ensure 2- way communication with business leadership on sourcing matters,
- Analyze risks and benefits of sourcing decisions and can clearly present proposals with this risk analysis,
- Participate in Make-Buy, Should Cost processes,
- Drive Early Supplier Engagement for critical parts/process,
- Drive dual source strategy for new components,
- Co-own Sourcing Reviews for assigned NPI projects,
- Participate in tooling process,
- Track purchased materials cost vs. target,
- Coordinate completing materials compliance process from Sourcing perspective.

Qualifications/Requirements: | - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent in knowledge/experience),
- Engineering background is an advantage,
- Fluent written and spoken English,
- Additional languages are advantage,
- PRoven sourcing/supply chain experience (or equivalent),
- Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills,
- Passion for working towards challenging goals,
- Openness for new initiatives, fast learner, proactive,
- Driven by execution of tasks,
- Ability to work under pressure,
- Strong work ethics with unyielding integrity,
- Team player,
- Advanced MS-Office, SAP and Oracle SSP basic user knowledge is an advantage.
