Role Summary/Purpose: The Sales Origination Manager for Services will be responsible for the conversion of qualified sales leads into sales opportunities and ultimately into direct sales orders (covering the entire services portfolio). She/he will pick up qualified leads from the inside sales origination team and will have to establish a direct customer relationship utilising the customer specific installed base sales campaigns and/or presenting the entire PC services portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the set quarterly and annual operational plan targets (orders, revenues / book & bill margins and number of weekly direct customer contacts)
  • Based on qualified leads execute a rigors schedule to ensure regular direct customer in order to build the required customer relationship execute a rigors schedule to ensure regular direct customer in order to build the required customer relationship
  • Identify the ‘untapped’ customer base and execute a rigors schedule to ensure regular direct customer in order to build the required customer relationship
  • Develop, implement and drive strategies (externally and internally) to maximize to conversion of qualified leads (or for ‘untapped’ customers) into book & bill opportunities
  • Coordinate with the respective quoting teams in order to structure winning proposals
  • Single point of customer contact in order to address commercial and technical requirements for the aforementioned proposals, including technical presentation to all levels of the customer organization
  • Interface with the various internal stakeholders (regional and hq) to ensure a coordinated and compliant sales process (including pacing, booking and handover as required)
  • After a successful and sustainable customer relationship is establish the Sales Origination Manager will transfer the account to a Services Sales Manager.
  • Participate in the overall commercial process rhythm
  • Timely maintain and provide accurate SFDC opportunity records
  • Engage with regional ITO / OTR teams in order to address customer challenges raised during customer engagements
  • Link the regional pipeline with the global fulfillment teams in order to achieve short- to mid-term orders targets
Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Professional degree from an accredited school
  • Significant relevant experience in sales, commercial operations, risk or marketing
  • Relevant IT knowledge
  • EU Work Permit

Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
